Storyline

A century has passed since the Spellplague reshaped the enchanted and enigmatic realm of Faerûn. Vast empires crumbled and mighty cities were reduced to rubble, leaving behind haunted wastelands and desperate survivors striving to restore what was lost. Neverwinter, the Jewel of the North, appeared to be favored by divine hands. While the Sword Coast suffered devastation, Neverwinter remained largely untouched. Yet this respite was fleeting, and nearly seventy-five years later, a cataclysmic volcanic eruption unleashed fire, ash, and molten destruction upon the city, obliterating all in its path. Now, Neverwinter has reclaimed much of its former splendor. Lord Neverember of Waterdeep has placed the city under his watchful care, calling upon the heroes and adventurers of the Savage North to aid in its reconstruction, with the ultimate goal of one day claiming its throne and crown. But in the shadows of the world, dark forces plot in secret, determined to unravel all that has been rebuilt.
