Summary

Join forces with fellow agents on an endless variety of missions and enjoy unmatched character personalization and action RPG combat—all free to play. Journey through countless worlds with a team of up to four companions or venture into unique multiparty zones where up to twelve players can team up at once! Initially launched in Japan in 2012 and in Asia in 2014, the game debuts globally in 2020, with a North American release on Xbox One and Windows 10, followed by availability on Steam and in 33 countries. The global edition includes the most recent balance adjustments and patches from the Japanese version, while gradually introducing new content and features—starting with the first three Episodes, nine playable classes, and enhancements from later major updates. In addition, the game offers cross-platform multiplayer and follows a Free-to-Play model with optional in-game purchases, allowing players to enjoy a vast amount of content without any initial cost.

Storyline

The Oracle fleet, home to four species—Humans, Newman, CAST, and Deuman—has journeyed through countless galaxies, uncovering new worlds at every turn. To advance their mission, specialized teams known as ARKS were formed to explore and study these newly found planets. But in the far reaches of space, a dangerous menace emerged: the Falspawn. Spreading like an infection, the Falspawn have overrun the populations of multiple worlds. With the revelation of their vulnerability to Photons, the ARKS have taken on a new mission—to defend the universe from this growing threat.
