Pokémon 2000 Adventure Game was an online title created by Cyberworld International Corporation to accompany Pokémon the Movie 2000. It used Cyberworld’s proprietary QBORG system to render 2.5D environments within a custom browser. According to Neil Marshall, who worked as a programmer and technical director on the project, the game was taken offline after just one month due to "a contract dispute." Nevertheless, at least one file remained accessible as late as 2003, and the game’s main page was still visible in 2009, as recorded by the Wayback Machine. Players could set their name, pick a team of Pokémon, and choose a difficulty level. The gameplay involved moving through a 2.5D setting, with web-based panels on the side offering additional ways to interact with the game. The objective was to visit three islands, each protected by one of the three legendary bird Pokémon—Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno—and collect an Ancient Sphere from each.
