Summary

Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary was developed by Sonic Team to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Puyo Puyo series. The game brings back the gameplay mechanics from the original arcade Puyo Puyo and Puyo Puyo Tsu, along with six characters from the Madou Monogatari era. It launched on the Nintendo DS in 2006, and later in 2007 for PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii. This title was succeeded by Puyo Puyo 7.

Storyline

Ms. Accord, the instructor at the Primp Magic School, tells Sig about an upcoming tournament where everyone is set to participate, with the prize being a medal capable of granting any one wish. In another scene, Amitie and Arle promise to follow the rules, and Sig, still as oblivious as ever, eventually agrees, though not before seeing six comets crash to Earth. Recognizing this as a major discovery, Sig chooses to brush it aside and enters the competition. It’s later revealed that the so-called "comets" are actually six well-known characters from the Madou series, who appear as boss characters in the game's story modes.
