Summary
Star Wars: The Old Republic - Onslaught is the seventh digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Onslaught brings new quest zones in the newly introduced regions of Onderon and Mek-Sha, along with a fresh flashpoint on Corellia and an operation set on the jungle world of Dxun. Later updates expanded the narrative with a minor story extension, a new stronghold on Alderaan, and a recurring event featuring swoop racing known as the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. Additional content soon followed, including a new annual event called The Feast of Prosperity, a cooking-themed celebration, a servant droid mini-game, a new flashpoint titled "The Spirit of Vengeance" that delves into the Mandalorian storyline, the main story quest "Echoes of Oblivion," and the flashpoint "Secrets of the Enclave." In a subsequent update, the original cutscenes from the base game Star Wars: The Old Republic were enhanced and reworked, and new Login Rewards, along with Galactic Seasons, were added to the game.
Storyline
War rages between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, engulfing the galaxy in flames. Essential supplies are running low as piracy and criminal activity surge. In the midst of this turmoil, the Alliance Commander holds the power to shift the balance in favor of one side, deploying elite troops to determine the galaxy’s future. As the Sith Empire gears up for a critical assault on a newly built Republic shipyard on Corellia, members of the Dark Council envision triumph and begin scheming against each other in anticipation of the spoils. At the same time, Republic forces must act swiftly to gather reinforcements from across the galaxy to protect Corellia from the Sith. Pinnacles of Power Forge stronger bonds with the Galactic Republic or the Sith Empire and build your own personal base in the opulent Alderaan Noble Estate! Following the Sith Empire’s attack on the Meridian Complex Shipyard, both sides create elite units to carry out vital missions that could change the war’s outcome. As battles erupt across the galaxy, representatives from the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire converge on Odessen to strategize their next moves. Far from the war’s front lines, players can establish a luxurious command center in the Core Worlds by acquiring a new Stronghold: the Alderaan Noble Estate. For those seeking a more thrilling challenge, players can speed through the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally or take on the intense Master Mode of the Nature of Progress Operation. Echoes of Vengeance Gather allies, both familiar and new, as the Mandalorian clans descend into civil war and an ancient darkness stirs from the edge of oblivion to cast the galaxy into shadow. The long-lost derelict ship carrying former Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan and her students has finally been discovered, far from its original destination. The Servants, zealots of the former Sith Emperor, are somehow involved—but their true intentions remain unknown. At the same time, the Mandalorian flagship Spirit of Vengeance II has come under attack by unknown raiders. Shae Vizla is preparing a swift retaliation to repel these intruders, but she will need formidable allies to ensure the mission’s success. The Dark Descent With the help of your faction’s most powerful warriors, journey to the ancient ruins of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine to confront one of the galaxy’s most dangerous enemies—Darth Malgus! To the alarm of both Republic and Empire forces, Darth Malgus has been sighted in the ruins of a hidden Jedi Enclave on the remote world of Dantooine. The Empire’s leadership is sending two of its top agents to pursue him: Darth Rivix, the Empire’s liaison to the Hand, and Darth Krovos, the Empire’s military commander. Meanwhile, General Daeruun has called upon Arn Peralun and ex-Jedi Aryn Leneer to stop Malgus once and for all. Who will uncover the truth first? Away from the ruins of Dantooine, “The Stranger from Kubindi” makes its galactic debut! This is the first Galactic Season: a brand-new way for players to earn exciting rewards. New Fleet Apartment Strongholds, Mounts, Armor Sets, Weapons, Companions, and more will be available for collection!
