Summary

Rin Enma, the adopted daughter of King Enma—the judge of the newly deceased and sovereign of the underworld—is assigned the mission to retrieve the "jailbreakers," souls who were condemned to hell but have now fled to the human realm. With the assistance of Goemon and his companions, she ventures into the living world to bring the escaped souls back to the afterlife. But the very allies aiding her in this quest are also souls who have been punished themselves! To make matters more complicated, a mysterious singer-songwriter seeks to join the action—could he be a friend or a foe?

Storyline

Enma Rin is the adopted child of King Enma, the judge of the recently deceased and sovereign of the underworld. Her mission is to track down and recapture the "jailbreakers"—souls who were condemned to hell but have now fled to the human world. With the aid of Goemon and his companions, she enters the living world to apprehend these escaped souls. However, it turns out that some of those assisting her in this quest are also punished spirits themselves! To make matters more complicated, a mysterious singer-songwriter wants to get involved in the action! Is he friend or foe?
