Two Fierce Siblings. Two Mighty Forces. One Final Victor. Vasteel is fundamentally a hex-based tactical warfare game. In the story mode, players take control of either Stefan’s or Faliall’s forces and navigate through a series of overhead maps, where the two opposing armies clash in battle, maneuver for strategic advantage, and vie for control of enemy strongholds.
The central world of the Vasteel Solar System is known as Belose. For centuries, the Faracia dynasty has held dominion over the planet. Yet, the final ruler of that line proved to be deeply disliked by the populace, sparking widespread discussions about reforming the government. Just as tensions rise, the emperor suddenly falls seriously ill and passes away shortly after. His eldest child, Faliall, is immediately named successor. But his younger sibling, Stefan, sympathizes with the common people and seeks real change. Thus, a brutal conflict erupts between the two brothers over power and what is right.
