Summary
Yu-Gi-Oh! Online: Duel Evolution was a significant upgrade from "Yu-Gi-Oh! Online," introducing major changes to the game. Now, players have personalized avatars and can explore parts of Domino City from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series and Duel Academy from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series. The dueling interface and Deck editor were also overhauled and enhanced. One of the most recent additions to the game is the inclusion of NPCs. These characters appear in both Domino City and Duel Academy. They include figures from the series like Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Jaden Yuki, and Alexis Rhodes, as well as characters not seen in the series. In December 2009, a new version titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Online 3: Duel Accelerator took the place of Duel Evolution, rendering it obsolete.
