Summary
Rumors speak of an enigmatic labyrinth concealing powerful secrets capable of granting the desires of those who uncover them. Two nations, each governed by Queen Xina and King Bodd, are locked in a fierce rivalry to claim the right to explore this hidden realm. But as tensions rise, a series of bizarre occurrences begin to unfold: the labyrinth's guardian perishes, his daughter vanishes without a trace, and King Bodd seems to have fallen victim to a mysterious curse. Caught in the middle of these strange happenings is Blount, a goblin journalist determined to interview both the queen and the king. To make matters worse, Blount is bitten by a werewolf and unexpectedly falls in love, thrusting him into a whirlwind of supernatural challenges he must somehow overcome.
Goblins Quest is the third game in the Gobliiins series. Much like its predecessors, it is a puzzle-driven adventure focused on solving intricate challenges within confined settings rather than open-world exploration. Most levels span multiple screens and offer limited movement between different zones. As the title's name suggests—shortened from "Gobliiins" to "Goblins"—this entry features only one playable goblin. Throughout the game, however, Blount will need the help of other controllable characters, including Chump the parrot, Ooya the sorcerer, and Fulbert the snake. Additionally, Blount's sudden transformation into a werewolf can influence the way certain puzzles are solved. Over the course of his journey, the hero will also experience several other transformations and undergo dramatic changes in size.
