ClockWerx is a puzzle game created by Axes Art Amuse and published by Tokuma Shoten, released in Japan in 1995. The goal is to complete a sequence of progressively challenging stages by maneuvering a rotating wand from dot to dot until reaching the "goal" dot. Hostile wands that eliminate the player on contact move in fixed patterns across the level's grid. The game is designed so that with precise timing, players can navigate through what appears to be an impenetrable cluster of enemies. Players can also share a dot with an enemy by positioning themselves on the opposite side, as most enemy wands rotate at the same pace. In later stages, new threats appear, including doors that open and close when the player's wand triggers a switch, hyperdots that teleport the player to another location, and acid droplets that trail the player.
