Summary
This version of Tomb Raider: Legend contains a few exclusions, likely due to storage space constraints. The looping demo sequences that usually play when the game remains idle on the main menu have been cut, and the "Unfortunate Mishaps" video is also missing. Furthermore, a number of visual effects related to explosions and motion blur have been removed, leading to crisper textures but less dramatic explosive visuals.
Storyline
Lara is on the hunt for a South American relic, but her journey takes an unexpected turn when she encounters rogue anthropologist Amanda Evert. Thought to be dead alongside a group of graduate students following a tragic incident in a Peruvian tomb—where Lara was the sole survivor—Amanda returns with vengeance in mind as the two women, along with the untrustworthy James Rutland Jr., compete to claim an ancient artifact.
