Summary
After the title screen, the game starts. Godzilla moves in three dimensions and uses only his atomic breath as a weapon, which can be directed. Godzilla has four lives, which are lost when enemies make contact, hit him with their attacks, or when he falls into a hole. Megalon will dig into the ground and emerge to confront Godzilla. Once Megalon is defeated, Kumongas rise from the holes and attack Godzilla using one of two weapons: a string shot or a color-shifting projectile. After defeating multiple Kumongas, King Ghidorah appears, and Godzilla must protect Minilla. King Ghidorah fires gravity beams near himself, and if Minilla touches him, Godzilla loses a life. After defeating Ghidorah, the game begins again. In 2-Player mode, the gameplay is identical to the single-player version, but two players can take turns during each life, each having their own set of lives and score.
