Summary

This is an improved version of the game that was first launched on the original Sony PlayStation. It was available exclusively in Japan.

Storyline

Mega Man Volnutt starts his journey by venturing into a tower ruin located in the heart of the ocean, where he discovers a massive blue refractor. After overcoming the Reaverbots that stand in his way, he brings the item back to the airship, the Flutter, and prepares to leave the site. Unfortunately, the Flutter experiences engine trouble and crashes onto Kattelox Island. With no way off, Mega Man, Roll, and Barrel set out to find the necessary components to fix the ship. While on the island, pirates under the command of the Bonne family launch an attack on Kattelox City, deploying colossal mechanical weapons in their pursuit of the island’s fabled treasure. Mega Man steps in to defend the city, fending off the pirates’ troops, including Tron Bonne and her machines in the Downtown district, and Bon Bonne, who is leading the assault on City Hall. Later, the group’s leader, Teisel Bonne, attempts to take control of the Clozer Woods ruins, but Mega Man thwarts his plans, ensuring the island remains safe. The mayor of the island, Amelia, informs Mega Man that the Bonne family is after Kattelox’s hidden treasure. According to local legends, revealing it could unleash a terrible catastrophe. Worried about unusual activity in the ruins and the growing number of Reaverbots, Amelia asks Mega Man to investigate the sites and uncover the truth.
